First, don't worry I am not wraping the WRX, but I was wondering does anyone know if viynl wraps will stick to a primered car or does it have to be painted first?

awesome, I just found rust in my rocker panels in my Karmann Ghia and I don't know why but I am hesitant to mess up my decent paint job (even though I know I have to...) I will probably be wraping it after I primer the spots that I repair...

After all it wouldn't be a drift car without a rediculous wrap! I can't wait to see how much money I am gonna spend making an Air-cooled Beetle-era VW into a drift car... one thing is for sure, next year at Formula D in Houston I will be turning some heads... thats not a Z, an RX7 or a Silvia...

1750lbs (+-50lbs I was on a truck scale accurate to 50 lbs) - Nearly Gutted WITH full metal body including boot and bonnet and my fat butt!
IRS & RWD - stock
LSD - $750
1.9L Turbo @ 12psi - $2600 and counting
4 wheel disk kit with hi power buttonless e-brake $450
Vinyl Wrap - $1,000-$2,000 (hoping)

Bringing a Turbo boxer VW to Formula D - Priceless

It's not rust it's weight reduction!
