Another P.I.A Project

I just got an email from my old shop. And Im sure some remember me mentioning the monster they were trying to build. Well it didnt reach what they were hoping/expecting (the car experienced some engine failure). But thought some might enjoy the video, and some of the thought and work that went into the car. Im trying to get some more pics of it to share.

**EDIT** guess I forgot the link, my bad, here it is:http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1843734

Awesome car man. Too bad it didn't work out. Get more pics for sure. I would love to see them!

I have been emailing the guy(s) at the shop about once a week. I will try and get some (more) pics up. They are going to actually work the engine to a 2.6L now and go for more.

Nice car...I though it was going to be a video of the engine failing on the dyno. I have seen that happen on Kito's dyno once, good stuff! well not for the owner of the car.

I'm guessing you're saying fail to hit the numbers you were looking for? LOL.

I've never seen a car let go on a dyno before. I'm sure the first time is awkward.

I think I've seen 2.71L stroker kits or was it 2.67L I forget. I'm guessing they're not going to push the block that far? LOL

You arent the only one. I watched my first 20G seperate (cold section from the main body) on the dyno.

But I have seen a few different variations of the 2.5 already, all the way up to a 2.8. I get bored once and awhile and search "crazy" things. But I did get a response back from the car owner; no pics yet, sorry, but they are ordering parts to start rebuilding the engine and stroking it to a 2.6:.
