Another Cobb Part

Was searching around for car parts and happened to stumble upon this:COBB Tuning Surgeline I will probably be picking this up for one of two reasons: First off we all know that Im a HUGE Cobb fanatic. And secondly Im in need of a new BPV. My Perrin unit does not stay in the position I set it in which has led to a problem or two here and there (like the top actually coming completely off and me having no vaccuum). Just thought I would share.

You are doing a fine job at it. But I did call them yesterday and am on the waiting list to get one Its a good thing, my Perrin one is pretty much dead. The spring tensioner, inside the BPV is/was stripped (and completely not doing its job). I cross threaded it get it back on and its working for now.

On another note. Mode Racing is up and running (just google them). They are making the Cobb double adjustable shifter and its cheaper than the orginal version.

Have you checked with Perrin for a solution or warranty? They seem to be pretty good guys.

Its broke, and its a great excuse to get the Cobb one. As soon as I told the wife they had one, her response was, "Did you order it yet?" Like I said the Perrin one is doing the job for now, but over all my impression of it isnt very high. So I will be hopefully installing the Cobb unit in a couple weeks..

Just curious. They have a thread over on NASIOC where you can post problems. Probably not a bad idea to let them know. Maybe you'd get a new one you can sell. LOL

yea i heard Perrin does a good job of backing their parts...i'm sure they wouldnt have a problem replacing it. Like Brad said...could always sell it and make a few bucks.
