for all you sti owners out there

ive been looking for a wrx for the longest time and have still yet to find one. i have noticed that sti's seem to be more abundant than wrx's on autotrader and sites like that and so ive decided to start lookin for an aspen white sti (it wasnt till i saw mosc picture of the wrx and the sti that i truly realized how amazingly sexual the sti's really are) now heres my question: what are the pros and cons as to choosing an sti over a wrx other than insurance and slightly less mpg?

The only real "Con" would be insurance may be a little higher.

STI's are all around great cars.

Like Nic said, biggest one, especially for you will be insurance, and of course they cost more to purchase also. But its better out of the box of course.

it's a fancier car. More toys. More power out of the box. The transmission isn't so fragile. It has lots of interior and exterior styling bits (like brembo brakes and a park bench on the trunk) that would be very expensive to replicate.

After owning a 06 wrx for 2 years and buying and driving the STi this past week the differences are insane. The STi just wants to go!! If you can afford it buy a STi. The main reason I bought mine was because I was always having to baby the tranny in my 06 "glass tranny" was always in the back of my head. Just make sure when you get it do a thorough inspection in the engine bay and suspension components. You dont want a car that has been someone elses project. Mystery turbos can suck ballz, just ask mosc.

to be fair, I paid a lot less than bluebook for mine. I knew I was not getting a clean car. It's just been more fooled around with than I originally thought.

the suspension is also stiffer which means you will feel more bumps, but the car will handle better
