330CI vs. WRX

my friend has a 330Ci with an intake, and i have a WRX, hes an okay manual driver, so if i were to run him what do you think would be the outcome, because he is a big trash talker and if i lose i dont want to hear it. so what would happen from a dig, and from say about a 30-40 roll?

you'd beat the 330ci. they are slow. I work at BMW and drive those things everyday all the time. but yeah, they are slow. I ever drove an M3 and thoght that would beat me, but I smoked an M3 a few nights ago.

In most states (if not all) it is not legal to replace a stock Cat with anything but the OEM replacement. so if you do UP/DP you have broken a law. Of course you will probably get away with it if you use a High-flow cat downpipe because most visual inspectors don't know that there are supposed to be 3 cats. If you are worried about being legal, keep your original exhaust components and swap out stock DP for inspection/smog and just hope you don't get a cop that decides to look at your exhaust on the highway...

I think you'd put a hurtin on him, but the best way to find out is to race. Just race him one day for the hell of it. Go from a stand still, I'm sure you won't be dissappointed. That's what I did last weekend. My cousin and his friend both have GS-Ts and we were bored, so we just went out for a while, and had some fun. We got two good pulls from the line and a few good traffic runs. But it was definitly worth it to find out what these cars can actually do.
