Here are some shots of the new STI in camo. It looks like there are some monster fender flares hiding under there. The ugly front grill has been replaced with mesh and the front air dam looks more aggressive. I can't wait for the real one to come out.

When everyone talks about "I would get the new EVO instead" are you refering to the Evo X or are they going to make a lower line turbo AWD version, because most people that say that own a WRX and the Evo X will cost 35,000, if not more. Remember this shit dosen't grow on trees

If Subbie is aiming toward selling more cars to housewives and single moms, then they did the right thing by tearing apart a rally racing legend/icon to make this hideous nonsense.
If i really wanted to buy a Toyota Corolla mixed with a Chrysler and every other lameass average car out there, i MIGHT consider this.
But for now i will stick with my 06' WRX that def. looks like an Impreza should...

Havent been on here for awhile, but this is exactly the reason I came to the site.... To see what all of you thought about the new WRX. I must say that with each new model they come out with it gets uglier and uglier and uglier!!!!

Here are some interior and exterior spy shots of the new STI found in a parking lot. There's not much camo on this thing at all so I think this is pretty close to how it will look. Check out the 4 exhaust pipes coming out the back! There's not a shot of the front unfortunately.

OK, now the STI is coming along. It looks to me like this is a pretty good indicator of what the production STI will look like. It was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show today.

i like the sti, it sits lower than wrx and that flat black color is awesome! i know its cammo. Hatchback in theory will appeal to more people. But than again, few tuners already have their hands on the wrx and made it look better and faster! Will see, i have not seen one on the read yet. But did not visit a dealer either. I love my car and will stick with it untill the end or new Evo.

drive = freedom

I don't mind the new car now that I've seen it with the SPT mesh grill. Here is one for sale on Ebay. I think the grill makes it look so much better.

I'm heading to the Subaru Plant on Friday morning for a special tour of the plant. It was open to 100 Subaru owners and I just happen to be driving by the plant that day on my way to a wedidng. After the tour they have the new WRX, Legacy and Outback to drive.

I'll post what I think of the new car's handling and stuff after the drive. I'm really looking forward to playing with the new S-Drive and paddle shifters on the Legacy. I'll do my best to sneak out any information I can about the upcoming STI.
