Im glad to see they brought back the fender flares for the STi in 08, hatches are cool too, the only problem I see is the fact Ill never be able to afford one.

Save the environment or ill f***ing kill you!

The fender flairs are still up in the air I think. I just saw a 2008 STI in the new Car&Driver without the flairs.

All right, where is the distributor cap? I need to find the #1 plug wire to hook up my SUN machine.

I just sent them a comment on the subaru website under contact us. They won't even pay attention to it, but it made me personally feel better. Maybe if they get enough feedback at least causing them to think about how much the 08 wrx sucks they wont make the same mistake in '10. give it a shot http://www.subaru.com/tools/contactus/index.jsp

This is some nice photoshop work of the STi. If they come out looking like this, I would probably buy it. Oh, and it's a coupe!

Looks mean, to be sure. It doesn't look rally-capable enough to be called a STI though.....looks more like a GT racing car.

Don't know if it's a bad thing or not, but I think it'd be hard to feel mature driving a car like that !Laugh! . Guess you'd get used to it though.

Here are some more views of the concept by Lars Mårtensso at http://www.3dluvr.com/grid. This thing looks incredible. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. If I were Subaru I'd be on the phone trying to hire this guy.

I don't think those 2 extra doors add much length....have you BEEN in back? I'm glad I drive, and I'm not even that tall! (5'10")

That thing looks SICK, now that would be nice, even if the new WRX followed that design

While I agree tha those concepts are absolutely amazing and look great...It will never happen. Unfortunately the reason Subaru chose the new design is to create a new audience and buyer crowd for the WRX and STi. They wanted to dull down the aggresive body lines and "boy racer" qualities. It sucks, I know...but what can we do?

However...I guess we can look forward to the STi because they had a different design team (different from the team that did the new WRX) create it.
