2003 Sonic Yellow 5spd wagon 53k? Yay or Nay?

So i'm looking at a 03 sonic yellow Wagon. Clean car fax and 53k. I guess i'm worried about the tranny. Are there any other things I should worry about. I Sold my 09 a year ago and I'm looking for another subie when i came across this one.

Looks pretty decent for 13.9 but I'd def be talking them down a little more. They probably only paid between 9k-10k tops for that!

Oh, and living in Shrewsbury and missing the Mountain Run on the 28th = unacceptable!

So the pictures look a lot better than real life. Someone went crazy and put carbon fiber tape on the roof, wing, gas tank lid, it's everywhere. Tons of dings. Not sure how easy that tape comes off. Other than that it was real clean. Crappy dealership though.

That sucks! Kinda surprised that dealer is crappy though. It looks so nice from the outside and always have nice/rare/exotic cars out front. I guess that's the way they want it to appear though lol!

The vinyl should come right off. If the adhesive sticks to the paint you can just hit it with some orange extract and it'll come right off. Def dont let that stop you from buying it. If it was a POS besides that then that's different. Seeing it was wrapped in CF vinyl though I doubt it had quality parts on it before trading it in lol! So yeah, you might wanna second guess the purchase.

I agree, but maybe it's also covering damage, some lots put vinyl over scratches.

I can't expect you to trust a complete stranger, but my gut feeling about this car (and the seller) is not good despite the low mileage and pretty good looking interior.

Bad ass, I almost bought one last year but decided if I were gonna buy a newer car it had to be an sti.
I dare you to get on msforums and show your Mazda newbieness, haha.
Your allowed to be a pure dick over there, it's allowed and it makes it super fun.
Paul is a regular there, he may be able to better explain

What are your plans for it? I'd like to see a new thread for it as well, maybe with more pics too
