personally i would look at more options. its just seems like everybody has rotas

man show 02-04-2008 07:43 PM

Yeah, it does seem like lots of people have Rotas, but I have to admit, they do look pretty good and the price is certainly right. I was trying to picture gold Rota Torques on my black wrx in 17x8 or 18x8... maybe next year

kh15 02-04-2008 08:02 PM

they look great no doubting that but i would rather spend just a little bit more to have something not many people have

man show 02-04-2008 08:21 PM

Yeah, I know what you mean... I think most people can appreciate some originality. I wonder what a set of American Racing Torque Thrusts would look like on a WRX? lol

LeohMit 02-05-2008 01:16 AM

How bout some 14in. American Racing 5star Hammers?!..Man I don't miss the mid 90's!!

Wow, those look good! I have someone locally selling 17" Rotas with Kumho Ecsta SPTs. Does anyone have any input on the rubber?

Hey colombian, I took my roof rack off and found I get, believe it, 5 more mpg mix of city and highway!

9.5"s wide....that will be a tough fit. What offset?

You definitely will have to roll you fenders to fit them. But, why do you need such a wide rim. You planning on pushing a ton of power/going to the drag strip?

If not, I would go with a 18 X 8, +48mm offset. 9.5"s would definitely be overkill for a DD.

Would some 18x8 with 37 offset be ok with slight lowering (1'')
