What type of Wheels should i get?

I have a 07' WRX and i am looking to upgrade to a nice wheel however I still have about 90% tread left on the tire. so i want somthing that will fit the stock tire wont rub and fits the car without modding it to much. the local wheel shop is giving me about 350 for the stock rims so that is my basic range of income to spend on them.

whoa.. did I read that right? Someone's giving you $350 for your stock wheels? That doesn't sound half bad. If I were you, I'd try to sell the tires too. I'm sure everyone will agree with me here: the stock WRX tires are really not worth keeping - no matter how much tread you have left. If you're getting new wheels, you should seriously consider getting better tires too. I'd recommend slightly wider and lighter wheels, but the style is really up to you. Personally, I like Rota Torques even though lots of people have them.

+1 to Rota. Great price and nice look. And also like stated stock rubber is crappy to say the least. Try and save to get better rubber also. And wider is also nice when it comes to looking at the rim/tire combo.

I actually had an 02 REX wagon, and I had some OZ Racing Superleggera's and I absolutely loved them! I had the goldies on a red wagon about 3 years ago and I always got the head turn.

I would recommend the Volk Racing RE30's in gunmetal. They look great. I am actually considering those and the OZ Racing Ultralaggera's in black for the new WRX. You can jump on Tirerack.com and actually look at different wheels on your car. It is really neat to see the wheel on your car before you buy it.

Let me get this straight. You are trying to buy aftermarket rims for $350 for a full set? I don't want to sound mean but you won't even be able to get a used set of Rotas for that much.

awd4life, those volks are sick but stupid expensive.

I don't know anything. Really why is this? I don't wanna clutter up your thred so please PM me with what you mean by this.
I would think before you get all E-thug on someone.

There is nothing wrong with Rotas. They are great wheels, you just cant get any decent wheels for 350$ including Rotas.

gucci is never gonna get some decent wheels And tires for 350 maybe some good rubber for 4-600 range and get ready to shell out atleast another 500 for your wheels. magazines usualy have good tire/wheel combos for around 700. all i did was get my stock wheels painted black at a body shop for her winter shoes and for the rest of the year, i got 17" bbs. those set me back about 1300 with toyo proxies
