What tires?

So the dealer says i need 2 new tires and i refuse to put their shitty potenzas on
Im looking at the yokohoma S drive and Goodyear Eagle F1 all season, i was wondering if you guys had any suggestions.

my only suggestion is get 4 tires. you cant have more than 2/32 difference between front and back. and you are going to want the same thread pattern between f/r. At my work we would never sell less than 4 tires on an awd car. unless 2 of them were fairly new.

i think i convinced my mom on 4 and the goodyears have a $50 rebate so the prices are about the same on both of em

I like the Bridgestone 960s but they cost a lot. For a value pick, I like the continentals. Tire rack has the continentals for $103 each I think in 225/45/17 (probably the size you'd want).

The question though is really why do you need all seasons in Texas? How much snow do you get?

I loved my F1's when I had them on my WRX and now my brother in law loves them since I sold them

I've had the Eagle F1 All Seasons (225/45/17) for approximately 5,000 miles now, and I am quite happy with them. Low noise, solid feel, and they hold air pressure very well (alignment within stock specs).
