The WRC car runs big wheels on Tarmac for one reason- to clear BIG brakes (water cooled big brakes )

245's on a sedan are very doable, you might not even need to roll- if you do rolling the rear fender arches is easy- you can rent the tool vry reasonably, heck some guys do it w/ a heat gun and a baseball bat

Look in the classifieds- there is a set of 16x7.5 Volks that would be perfect for a set of 245/45/16's- they weigh a scant 12.1 lbs!!!
