I agree with Turmic 100% on that one. Strut bars might be nice looking. But sways help more, and if you ever upgrade stuff in the engine bay that strut bar wont be in the way or eventually become worthless (if you get a bigger TMIC that wont work with it).
I agree to disagree! They are not "worthless" just not as big as an upgrade as other suspension parts. They are probably one of the least noticable improvements but still an improvement none the less.
For road course use, strut bars are definitely worthwhile. If you drive hard enough to notice the difference on public roads, you probably shouldn't be driving on public roads.
The purpose of the bar is to reduce chassis flex that adversely affects your dynamic camber and toe settings. Not real important in a DD car IMO. If you're doing HPDE. Time Attack or racing, get one !! I bought a Cusco bar used for $15.00 on E-bay (super easy install, even with camber/caster plates)
if you really want them get them off ebay. i got front and rears for like 20 bucks shipped. with both of them on i noticed slight improvement when autocrossing. they arent really a big enough difference to spend much money on imho
Strut bars are not a suspension mod, they are a chassis mod...
The rear one makes more than the front...
