Stock Wheels with Tuner Lugs?

I'm not even sure I'm asking the exact question I mean to but I would think you guys will have an answer almost instantly.

Can I use these:

Muteki Lug Nuts 12x1.25 Closed End Black 41885B at RallySportDirect.com

With my 2002 WRX stock wheels?

I want to add black lugs as my rims are blue. If those won't work do you guys have any possible solutions? Or should I just get some basic nice silver/chrome ones and get to painting?

Rally sport direct is saying they have a different lug seat than stock but, most everybody uses the 60° taper aftermarket lugs when they change them out on stock wheels. Im sorry im not much help. This seems to be a very argued subject among subarus. I myself would like to know what style lugs stock are if they are not 60° taper as rsd says. Since they I've never seen any other taper than 60.

My co-worker actually has the same lugs apparently, in red, on his 2014. Going to take the chance and test them out. I'll post back on whether or not they fit so we can know for sure!

If it helps, I have two sets of McGard spline drive lug nuts (black and chrome) and they work with both my stock 07 WRX wheels and my aftermarket Rotas. I can't speak for Muteki lugs specifically.

I don't know for sure if they fit but I have these for my 2013 in red, and they were pretty chipped up when I received them. and have chipped even more since I got them. You can def still tell that they are red but I just thought I would let you know. In case you are wondering it was the same brand allthough I can't remember what company I ordered them from.
Whatever you decide to get I hope it works out and you like them.

I'm sorry to hear about the quality of the lugs you bought. Thankfully I haven't experienced the same issue so I'd think the next set you get should be perfect compared to your current ones.

I'm happy to announce they fit perfectly, very happy with them.

Mcgaurd spline drives may not be flashy but are a good choice compared to some of the quality tuner lugs like rays that can get pretty expensive.
