STi Lateral Links

How do the 'STi lateral links' (see link) compare to those found on the 2002 WRX? From what I've read, the STi links would replace the WRX bushings (and links obviously) with "pillowball" type spherical joints, for improved handling etc.

Has anyone used these? Do they provide any significant/noticeable change in handling (especially for the price tag)?? Or should I invest my $500+ in something else? (not looking for coilovers by the way )

i would go with sway bars and endlinks, for around 550, you should be able to get both front and rear, that would be a sure fire way to improve your handling drastically for pretty decent pricing.

It depends on where your at w/ your suspension- upgrading the suspension bushings in the front/rear whether w/ Grp N ones or spherical ones significantly reduces deflection thus reducing the amount of change in camber and toe (which means better grip).

I'd highly suggest the upgrade of the bushings, but only after you have springs/struts/sways/alignment sorted out.

^^I've sorted out alignment etc. Camber etc is set according to my specifications.

I currently run Energy Suspension Poly bushings up front. Noticeable increase in handling feel/response.
