Hi all,

I just got my SPT Springs today and I figured I'd post a few pics before I do the install this weekend.

Is anyone interested in my doing a complete tutorial for my install? I've noticed little things missing from different how to's and I'll try to fill in the gaps.

Also, I've searched many times and I don't get a conclusive answer for the removal of the rear strut bolts. I have an electric impact wrench from HF rated 240 ft/lbs w/ impact sockets. I'm planning on letting PB blaster soak overnight. Will that be enough or should I also get a 1/2" breaker bar? My car only has 8K on it so there shouldn't be problem with rust.

Here's my tool list:
Jacks and Stands
Electric impact wrench 240ft/lbs
Spring compressor from HF (cheap!)
Impact Sockets
Pass Through socket set
alan wrench
large and small torque wrenches
pb blaster
sharpie

Cheers

Ok I've had a chance to drive for a bit. The springs make the ride slightly stiffer, but not too much. The drop is not too noticeable. It's slightly lower than stock (some people don't like this, but I do!). I didn't want a huge drop. The car should have come stock like this.

Taking corners is a lot more fun now. Maybe some sway bars will be next on the list.

I don't know if the drop will be more after the springs settle some more, but in any case you'll find some pics below!
