So I decided to fix my brakes

Some of you might remember a while back I posted about my front caliper splitting on the back face where there are no seams or holes. Good job Wilwood

. Anyway, I finally shoveled out a mere $400 for new Wilwood pads and a caliper from Summit (it was more to buy direct from Wilwood) and it arrived today. You can imagine how happy I was to put my money into the same company after what happened, but it would have been more to go another route.

I'll post some pics of the old one when I get it off, as well as all the never-ending cosmetic projects I have going right now when they get finished.
Anyway, here's what 260 begrudgingly spent dollars gets you:

They are nice looking, but an ungodly amount of money for them.

I spent $1,400 for two calipers and two rotors on our drag car, that was just the rear set up without brake lines and pads. For all the brakes i spent around $2,200 just for brakes not including the lines or master cylinder. It sucks to spend that much money on something where the point is to GO not STOP haha
