Hey guys, I have horrible les schwab rims on my wrx and have decided to upgrade since I need new tires anyway. I found some OZ prodrives with 90% tread left on tires. This is the
good deal? I was planning on getting them this Sunday. I Talked to the guy and I dont think I could get them any lower than 850.
I Have been wanting some gold rims for a long time so if anyone has any others they recommend or want to sell let me know. They have to be 850 or cheaper for rims and tires and must have good amount of tread left on tires.
looks like a good deal to me, I'll go out on a limb and say that it seems you would be getting the tires essentially for free. Then again, I haven't compared prices for wheels in a couple of years.
Don't forget to (re)balance them before installing.
Well, those tires are pretty terrible. Fair warning.
Also 18x7.5" is pretty limiting for width. You can't go wider than 225/40R18 tires on those wheels. You might even want to see if you can find 215/40R18 tires for them.
The wheels are pretty light and the offset is perfect so no problems there. Not 100% sure they clear your front brakes but hopefully that's not an issue.
That's mostly up to how much you like them visually. >$200 a wheel isn't cheap unless you value those tires (which I would not) and it's hard to confirm they're 90% tread remaining from that picture.
