Megan Racing Coilovers-Install/Review

I just finished installing these coilovers. It wasnt hard, very simple and not too time consuming. The coilovers look great, the welds are clean and the anodizing is nice. It really helps if you have an impact wrench, the strut bolts are on there real tight. Once installed i drove around and let the suspension settled then adjusted them so everything was equal. I set the dampening to 17 which is the stiffest setting for street use. The ride is comfortable, no bouncing and isnt harsh at all. You can definitely feel the rode more though and the car really holds in turns. Feel free to ask me questions about the install and feel of the suspension. I plan on doing updates to this thread as I get more rode time in with the set up. Look in my photo gallery to see the drop.

I have the street version and trust me they are stiff enough. I have them set at 17; I live in a city and any stiffer wouldn't be good for the ride. But Ive driven close to 100 miles on them and I love them. The handling is noticeably different, and I can really feel the road which improves driving performance. I cant wait to get my car out on a auto-x track to really test these coilovers out. The reason I bought coilovers by the way was because I had to replace my front strut and the mechanic was going to charge $780 to replace the two front struts. For only $120 more I could replace all the struts and springs and do the install myself. So far its been a good decision. A forum at NASIOC made me decide to go with the Megan's. Heres the link:

So would you recommend these. I'm thinking about buying some. Oh and just out of curiosity how low can you set the coilover to sit?

I too am thinking about buying these
I been planning on buying some suspension bits for the wagon this next spring
and by the time I buy the springs I want, tops and/or camber plates and maybe some inserts I'm well over the cost of these coilovers
I've read plenty of good about them
tell us what you think of themon the auto-x course
