JIC Magic-FLT A1

I have most of my speed mods picked out and just waiting to order. After I get them and install them I want to do so some suspension/handling work to the car. I have sways and all that picked/figured out, so I started searching and researching springs and coilovers. I was orginally just going to get Cobb springs, but think it better to spend some extra and get some nice coilovers. I found these: http://www.worldoneperformance.net/. Says it already comes with upper mounts and camber plates. Was wondering if I would need anything else if I bought these, and if they are any good? I have seen several cars run JIC suspension on them. I dont want to sacrifice daily driving much, but also look to track the car eventually also. Sorry for the long post, but really appreciate all the help everyone as been on the site

A guy here had JICs and hated them. He had rust issues, customer support issues and reliability issues. The guys who autoX and track there cars here recomend the Tein Flex. Not too stiff but also make a world of difference.

The megan ones are good but the Track springs are pretty stiff.

Robby, it seems like you are always one of the first to reply to my post. I think you are stalking me, lo, just keep that EVO away from me. But anyways, thanks for that info. Glad to hear some first hand experience. Everything I have read about them was not on long term stuff, just after a build and some track runs to get it dialed it. I will look into the Tein. Thanks again man.

I've heard Tein are the way to go, so I'll back the evo on this one. I don't know much about the other though.

The TEIN are nice from what I have read also, and have looked closer into them. But I was hoping to get ALL my suspension at once, coilovers, sways, endlinks. The TEIN are a few hundred more (plus the EDFC or whatever its called seems pretty cool also), dont mind, but will have to do one then the other. Still searching though, thanks everyone.

The thing with the coilovers is they really in a way reduce the effectiveness of swaybars. Some people with uber stiff springs actually run smaller than stock or none at all to get the most independence. That is a full race setup though.

IMO I'd go for the Teins with EDFC and then use the dampening to get the car how you want and if you can't do it just by adjusting them then use swaybars.

Just my .02 though.

My God Robby, I would be lost without you I swear. Im really new to suspension. I have never messed with it on any car until this one. So I want to do it right the first time. Im still reading and comparing alot of different set-ups. Kind of nice now also knowing I dont really have to worry about sways if I get the right setup. Im trying to actually keep the car as stock looking as possible, but just improve on it as best I can. But thanks again man, I really appreciate all the help
