JDM V8 sti proper spring rates

Hey guys don't think I have ever posted a thread on this forum so bare with me if i did something wrong. Any ways I just got the JDM V8 strut set up for my 02 wrx. I want to know what proper spring rate is a good balance in dampening on these? I was looking at getting some 04 spec tanabe gf210's. Is 241/224 spring rates a good rate for these struts? Any bugeye owners have this set up and want to let me know how it was? Pics would be great too! Thanks guys

Ver. 8 STI struts will not fit on your car.

Sure they will. As long as you change out the top hats to 04 sti which like i said I got the full strut assembly. I have done my research here is one of the many examples: Installing JDM Ver 8 STi suspension on an 02 WRX - NASIOC

What year is the suspension you got? THAT one fit, but some do not. The lower mounts will be different like on +05 STIs.

Anyone have any input? Looking into RCE's but the spring rates are very high. Might send my sruts into Feal for a revalve but if i can get a spring that works well with the stock dampening then id rather save the money and the shipping hassle. Anybody have opinions on these?

I'd get Blacks then. Yellows are incredibly aggressive for GD struts.

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking that as well. I' am also now looking into the swift sport springs 04 spec. Spring rates look good and the drop is pretty mild which might be a better choice for a DD.
