Question Interesting in rims? need major advice!

alright i have been interesting in getting rims for a while but, there is a big problem. all the rims i keep looking at are a different offset that stock. i was told with a front or rear wheel drive car that you can compensate for it, but awd is different.

i have been looking for a set of 04 sti rims to fit my 04 wrx but i cant find any for a good price. mind you a kid thats 19, in school, has his own apt and doesnt make a lot.

i have saved up $1000 but everyone wants to much for sti rims.

i was looking around and then i fell in love with the Falken hanabi rims, they are light and look good in bronze.

the specs are as follows:
17x7.5 42mm offset
18x7.5 45mm offset

what do you guys think, give me your opinion and some ideas to go with.

aren't RPF1's around $1000 for 17x8 rims? They do come in bronze. Wider and lighter than those and with the proper offset (42mm is way off, 45 is still a little small)

Enkei Racing NT03-M Gold Painted
NT03s come in bronze too and are only 17.5 lbs, with 8" wide and 48mm offset

$1000 will get you a very nice set of rims- look at nasioc in the private for sale section- lots and lots of nice rims at pretty discounted prices over new

I have Rotas on my car. You cant beat them for the price. Some will say get something more original. But go with what you like and can afford at the same time.

what do you guys think about the size, im interested in 17x7.5 or 17x8s but some say i would look better with 18s on it.

i am lowered with h-techs and i was just thinking about sticking with 17x7.5 due to my buddy with a sti having stock rims with s techs getting close to rubbing from the looks

mind you he is not and it looks mean, i just wondering if i will have the same look or not.

I have 17x8 on my 07. Stock for the 07 (at least) is I think 17x7.7, I could honestly feel the extra rubber when driving under just about any condition, but Im sure thats also due to better rubber in general.

Falken FK-451
Falken FK-452

i dont much about them so what do you guys think i should go with, they are 225/45/17
