How would it look?

im interested in buying mb weapon 18"x8 wheels with falken tires 235/40/18.
Now would these wheels make my 04 wrx look like a monster truck b/c i have stock suspension. Because my friend has an rs with same wheels and it looks high with a big wheel gap.

Help would be appreciated.

no it won't look like a monster truck. 235s are too tall though, you probably want 225/40s

I don't mean to contradict or anything, but isn't the 235 the measure in width, not height? Just clarifying for any confusion.

True but the discussion is between 225/40 and 235/40 which effectively have two different heights. Width effects height because for any given sidewall ratio, the wider the tire, the taller the tire.
