H&R Sport Springs

First off I have an 02 WRX, my question is do the HR-54456 H&R Sports Springs work with the stock dampeners. I have looked about 8 different websites and they don't say either way. I just don't want to spend the money only to find out I needed more parts and can't use it. Here is the website I found it on (oh btw perrin is giving 10% off till the 7th for the 4th of july)

Thanks!

are your struts the OE ones that came with the car? if so there is a lot of miles on them and you should replace them before getting those springs.
if the spring rate is about the same, then you should be OK . the stock dampeners are designed for the stock spring rate. the spring rates for your car (assuming it is a manual) 163 front and 119 rear. the springs you want are 196 front and 186 rear. your rear struts will go first because the spring rate is increased significantly higher. in a nutshell i would get new struts as well.

If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing

Ok thanks, that makes sense. But when you say new struts do you mean the OE or is their a particular brand that would work well with these springs?
