Group N Top hats

I'm gathering parts for a suspension swap on my 2007 WRX wagon. Here's are parts so far:
RCE front camber plates (lowering type): on 12 week backorder
Koni inserts
02-04 JDM version 8 STi Tarmacs springs
Takeoff struts from a 03 wagon

So my first question is about my rear top hats. I want to run Group N but they look so much diffrent than the stock ones off the 03 struts. Will they work with the springs I have?

Second question. Do I have to run the dust boots? I figure it is a good idea to run them, but the ones off the takeoffs are all rotten and cracked. Where can I find new ones? I live in Albuquerque but do alot of driving on salt covered winter roads in Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado.

You definitely want dust shields. If you can't locate any at a parts store get them from the dealer. Don't cheap out on the boots and ruin your expensive suspension parts.

As long as the springs are made for a 02-03 and the top hats are for 02-03 they should fit. Remember the picture may not match the actual part.
