Front Brakes

Are the front brakes difficult to change on an '04 STi? Never worked on a Subaru before and don't want to get into something strange. Know what I mean?

Easier than most cars as the Brembo caliper just swings over.

they're not bad to change, just to find. 04 STi seems to be the only car in existence with 5x100 in that rotor size. And rotor companies seem to know it...

Yes. Try to find ones you can actually turn even if they cost a few more bucks. Will save money in the long-term.

Look at Centric heavy duty rotors. They work really well on my speed.

There are some for sale on nasioc as well.

Finally got a chance to put the new brakes in. Poor car has been sitting so I didn't mess it up. You guys were right. Those were very easy to change. It's nice now. No more noises, and the car stops much better. And I didn't mess up a rotor! YAY!!!
