Ebreak adjustment built?

I am trying to figure out how to get to the adjustment bolt that is on my ebreak in my center console? I am afraid of pulling on it and break something, so can someone please explain to me how to get to it or walk me threw it or send me a page that it is on, I don't know why but I can't seem to find anything on it!
I want to do this tomorrow morning of possible! My ebreak, I have to pull it all the way up to engage to and have to use a lot of strength to engage it when on a hill!

Garage
I pulled apart the lower part of the centre console to adjust mine, but it's the earlier generation ('04 WRX).

It might seem intimidating at first, but it's quick and simple if you know the procedure and I was able to detail clean it at the same time when it was removed.

I think on the later models you can adjust your ebrake by adjusting the drum brakes in the rear of the car. I have an 08 and the rears are a rotor drum combo.

What I did was, take you the two screws in the center console and lifted it a little to get the boot loose then I adjusted the bolt on the ebreak, was done in 5 mins, rolled the car forward n back a couple times listen for break rub and then put the cover back on
