cost to install?

Hey i was just curious as to what i should expect to pay for a spring install?? I would consider doing it myself but im not sure how involved it really is.

labor rate vary from shop to shop. so the best bet would be to shop around

Its not hard at all, i did it myself and it took about two full hours, you just need some spring compressors and simple tools, and plus you can take pride in doing your own work. But when your all done i would take it to a shop and have them align it for you and all the good stuff.

bring a 6-pack* with you when you drop off the car. It'll usually save you far more on the install than the beer costs to buy.

*cases are preferable for larger installs

amazingly it also works with computer repair although the type of beer is usually different.

i'm not sure about a WRX, but a shop quoted my brother like $500-$600 for a lowering spring setup on his 99 Altima... depends on the shop, and obviously the car. i highly doubt they will charge you that much for it.

I assume that included the springs? I doubt labor was really that much.

Alright i consider doing it myself i did it on my old car(civic) but i wasnt sure if a subaru would be a PITA or not.. thanks for the replies
