Brake fade!!!Please Help!!!

Well, I geusse once you start modifying these cars they go too fast for their own good!

Last night I was doin some aggressive road driving, alot of heavy braking I geusse, I've driven like this before but this was in the winter, right now in Cali its been around 85 so i havnt even owned the car in the warm weather yet(till now) And my brakes are just worthless. ANYWAYS I was doing some hard braking/cornering and everythings fine but I did have a car full of people (heavier?) and it was hotter then its been lately and my brakes started to fade really really badly. To the point where they almost didnt work and it scared me alot. I dont want to get some big break kit and spend tons of money, are there any kinds of aftermarket pads that fade less? Or can handle more heat without sacrificing longevity of the pads/rotors. Or mabye a rotor/pad kit recommended. I just need somthing that can take a little more aggressive driving w/o spending alot, I never autocross or road race or anything hardcore, just some carve some back roads aggressivley here and there.

Thanks in advance guys, any input would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

Stainless brake lines, ATE super blue or Motul fluid will make a huge difference. I ran stock brakes on track last year with Axxis ultimate pads, and didn't experience fade even with 750 degree rotors (that's pretty hot !) I think the lines and the fluid will solve your problem. I'm still on stock brakes, but using Hawk blues race pads this year. My brake ducting kept the temp down to about 600 last weekend, so it looks like it's helping.

That sounds like a good less expensive option =P.

How much are the SS brake lines? And are they hard to install?

Also how hard is it to bleed the brakes? Ive heard rumors that it needs to be done proffessionally with a vaacum bleeder or somthing?

Links to some product? Thanks bro

I would go with the Goodridge lines, there's no reason to pay more $100 for those. I'm using Earl's (about the same price) Since you should change your fluid when you do the lines, just let them gravity drain, then gravity bleed them to get the lines full. Then it's just pump, pump, pump, hold etc. regular bleed job to firm up the pedal. I didn't install the lines, but I can't imagine they're too difficult.
