Air Ride

Since this is a vehicle that is capable on all kind of roads and conditions, is anyone developing an air ride suspension for the WRX/STI. I would love to lower mine, but I still need the ground clearance in the winter.

I've seen it in person it's really not that functional...

Full Coilovers are a great suspension upgrade but. I've found them way too harsh for a DD. Tein does make a entry level coilover that uses the stock upper mount, which alows ride height adjustment without the solid upper pillowball. Air ride would be nice because of the easy height adjustment. The Ksport kit looks real nice, except for that tank: I want ride height adjustment not to make the car dance. Dasco what do you mean by not functional.

Did you drop it off a 5-story building?

BTW, how much of a discount did they give you to spam every Subaru forum with this?

First off, air isn't going to be for everyone. I can assure you it is not just for show though. This kit was designed around performance as well. The idea is for a very well rounded suspension which is good in most all situations.

I've tracked, showed, and currently daily my car. It's been a great pleasure to drive in all situations. The kit is designed with built in camber plates and 30 way damping. It rides just like a nice set of coilovers.

So you work for the company and stand behind your product in any driving situation?
As for my comment before, I'm just saying I wouldn't put them on anything of mine except a show piece. That's all

Complete the look... Put colored spots on it like a wonder bread bag and hire a few dozen midgets dressed as clowns to come piling out of the back of it. Maybe a bubble machine for the tail pipe?

Or, red104dr if your serious go for this. It's pricey but I think it's what you are looking for.

I do not work at or for Air Lift. I do however really enjoy their products how quality has gone up over the years. I came across Air Lift in the VW scene while shooting photos for a company called ORT. I use to receive shipments of their new struts at my studio and found that they were getting into Subaru applications. I'm simply on the forum to share pics of the car I'm building for myself. If you don't like it, that's fine. The car wasn't built for you. This thread started about asking for air ride. I have air ride keeping it relevant. I'm not sure of why the forum has so much hatred let alone rudeness. Just because you own a WRX or STI does not make it a rally car. If one chooses to make a rally car cool! If you go for a different look, that's fine too. In the end to each their own.
