'06 STI ALK and Steering rack bushing??

I have a stock '06 STI and after driving my Dad's "07 Mini Cooper "S" I Became very dissatisfied with the handling of my STI.
I love the way mine "STOPS" and "GOES" but that Mini is on rails and I need to get rid of the turn in "sloshy" feel.
My thoughts are to only lower the a MAXIMUM of 1" and not make the ride to harsh.
So H Tech springs, Perrin 22mm rear bar w/solid end links along with harder bushings on the front sway bar. And lastly a whiteline steering rack bushing kit and Anti-Lift Kit.
I don't expect to out handle the Mini just greatly improve "Turn In" and transitioning between corners.
No track time of any kind are ever planned for this car. Spirited street driving only.
Thanks for any input in advance.
