06 sti/ 07 TR

if I take the springs from an 06 sti and put them on an 07 tr is it an upgrade? puttting cobb springs on a sti tomorrow and he wants to throw the sti's in the can.

yes its an upgrade but slight, i believe you'll be about .5 in or so lower in front and about the same in the rear, the bigger difference i believe is in the spring rate which i dont know off the top of my head. so i would say unless you know someone who can cheaply install them or yourself it may be worthwhile to wait and purchase so aftermarket ones that may be more to your liking. but by no means let him throw them away.

Sell the springs on e-bay and use the cash for some good aftermarket ones. But if you want to throw them away send them to me.

Lowering Springs misconception

It has good info.

I would save it for coilovers. Do it the right way or dont do it at all.

Thanks for the advice after seeing the hassel it was to put the cobb springs on the STI I think I will not be interested in putting them on my TR. The shocks are ebay bound
