I never track my 05 wrx, but its my daily. quality coilovers are too expensive and unnecessary for me anyway, so what are the best struts and spring upgrades without breaking the bank? also, would upgrading to sti suspension be worth it?
Koni strut inserts with stiffer springs (similar to STi springs) is an economical alternative. I'd upgrade the rear sway bar as well, and avoid lowering springs for a daily driver.
STi parts are available (SPT & Performance at subarugenuineparts.com for example), but in general aftermarket gear offers better performance value.
This would definitely be my recommendation as well. The Konis are really good for the money. There's no other shocks that are available right now that offer the "Bang for Buck" factor that they do.
yeah, im not much of a lowered fan anyway. a little is ok, but I don't like slammed at all.
