03 forester coilovers on 02 wrx

Hi. This guy on craigs list is selling a set of Ksport coilovers for an 2003 forester. I was wondering if they can be fitted onto an 02 wrx........thanks...

Cross reference part numbers, if they match then you are good to go. If they dont probably not worth the time and effort to make them fit.

thanks man......they are diferent part numbers.....witch mean they probly won't fit........there like brand new they cost 1400.....hes selling them for 400

Wow, that really sucks that they dont fit. Thats a steal. Someone that knows more about suspension might be able to chime in and say that you can make them work, but I cant, sorry.

I know that you can use the stock Forester suspension on the WRX. The only down side is it will raise the WRX about 1".
You need to check the spring rates to make sure that they will work for you. Also, check the travel of the coilovers so if you go low it will not bind. Check the mileage and make sure they are working and not blown. Check on the cost an ease of a rebuild, some have to be sent overseas to get rebuilt.
Buy coilover is never quick and easy. I would pass even though it looks like a great deal.
