Injectors(sti pinks at a minimum) fuel pump(wb 255 is a good choice and not expensive) upgrade your tmic or go fmic just be ready for more lag and its prob not a good idea on stock turbo...i dunno any other opinions on that?? Maybe bigger turbo then retune. Depending on turbo you may have a nasty little toy:-). Vf 34 is very popular, so is a 16 or 20g. Take a look around this site. Lot of good resources here and guys that know what's up. Good luck man!

Did you really just recommend a 20G to someone with an '02 WRX?

Looks like it.

Look into an Evo3 16g... Good hairdryer for the 2.0's, along with injectors and fuel pump.

What engine management do you use (if any)?

A 20G will perform fine on a 2.0, you just won't hit full boost till ~3900 RPM

...And if you don't drive it like an 80 year old you may be looking for a new tranny soon...

It will run fine until the engine and transmission can't take any more abuse from a turbo that makes much more power that a 2.0L will reliably hold when it's used to its potential. And that's without taking into account the mileage that his 10 yr old Subaru likely has. I would never upgrade a turbo on an engine with over 100,000 miles, but that's me.

I don't hit full boost till 4,300 on a 2.5L.

Maybe you need headers and EWG to speed up the spool.

Well, this is a larger one (TD06H-20G 8cm hotside). A TD05 would run up quicker. I hit 19 psi at the same place with both my Cobb and TurboXS tunes. I have an EWG.

I just realized my mod list on this site is severely outdated. I'll fix it later.

Thats why. I looked at your out of date mod list.
