Talking wrx sportwagon vs. sedan

Does anyone know what the actual difference is in performance between the sportwagon and the wrx sedan, if any? All i've heard is that the sportwagon is a little heavier and accelerates 0-60 in 6 seconds instead of the 5.4. Is this true?

I would think so because the wagon is heavier, taller and less wide. So probably the time would be greater, but I doubt, if handled by a good driver, the difference is by 0.6s.

Its about 85 lbs actually ( no biggy)
I love it when the F-body guys jaws drop as the "wagon" that just beat them last stop light......BEATS THEM AGAIN.
I have one of the few actual WRX wagons up here , most of them are the 2.5 RS....

Most of the difference in the sedan vs wagon are suspension orientated. The sedan comes w/ 20mm rear sway bar, the wagon 17mm. The sedan has a slightly wider track due to longer front control arms and lateral links. The sedan utilizes pillow ball joints in the front sway links, the wagon rubber bushings. The wagon has slightly higher spring rates.

Hmmmm.... kind of makes me wonder about the dealer who tried to convince me to get the wagon by telling me "it's the exact same car just with a hatchback instead of a trunk." Got the sedan anyways.

It's been my experience that salesmen/dealers seldom know much about the vehicles they sell. I don't know if it's because they sell so many different models or just don't want to invest the time. Either way, their lack of knowledge generally helps me out when dealing on a vehicle.

The sedan may look cooler , kinda R34 GTR'ish , ya know.......but the wagon gets more attention , IMO.

Most of the wagons up here are 2.5 RS's , so I get asked a LOT about it.
