is it worth the money????

i'm currently own a 07 vw rabbit i always loved the wrx but with the vw being 12G with 19,000 i jump and took it.
i found a 2005 wrx wagon for 12,9 with 40,xxx miles here is the link to the car

Cars for Sale: 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX in Manassas Park, VA 20111: Wagon Details - 312655062 - AutoTrader.com

i just have a few questions...
1. has anyone switch from vw to subaru, if so tell me what you like and dont like. was it worth the switch
2. anything i should really worry when i'm looking at this car?
3. is the price good?

According to that add you put up the sale is over, but thats just what I got from reading the description. I had an old 73 VW bug back in the day, so comparing my 07 WRX (or even my 4eat 05 WRX) to my VW experience, doesnt really count.

To me VWs are just like BMWs, get rid of it before you wind up under a huge pile of debt fixing that damn thing.

^Not really. When a BMW starts falling apart, unless yur loaded... the car will turn into a pile quickly.

Subies on the other hand, as long as you do proper maint on them will last you forever.

And yes, that's a nice $ for the mileage as long as it's never been modded. Looks like it has a couple dings (no biggie).

Yeah the car has never been modded.
I'm not worried about the dings at all, more worried about buying a car that doesn't work right.

I speak from experience on the BMW. 2001 330ci and a 2008 335xi and both were bought new and spend more time in the shop than any other cars I've previously owned. If you want a bad ass reliable car, buy a Ford Festiva. My 1991 is the bomb diggity and gets 41mpg.

I was a VW guy before owning a Subie, and granted I've only had mine for a short time, but EVERYTHING about the car is better than all the VWs I've driven.

Except for the complexity. I could take a mk2 / mk3 golf apart and put it back together in my sleep

This car had 3 previous owners, and at only 48000 miles....I don't know.
They emailed me a lot of stuff about the car but I deleted them. Ask for a carfax, they will send it to you.
