Exclamation Whistling BOV???

Hello all,

I tried asking one of our wonderful moderators this question but he couldn't answer me, so maybe one of you will know. I'm looking for a BOV that sounds exactly like a preschool recess whistle (for lack of a better description). I've heard it on a few STi's at E-town, but I could never figure out what kind it was. And also, if anyone has any sites in mind that have sound clips that would be helpful. I don't know why most of these sites sell BOV's and exhausts, but never have a [working] sound clip so that the buyer can hear it before purchasing!!!!

Thanks!!

Nope, that's not the one. I checked that same exact site out a few days ago and the ONLY ONE THAT WORKED was the HKS SSQ BOV. It sounded more like a bypass than something atmospheric. That's what I want. Thanks though

This is also the HKS SSQV, but the links from the previous posted have horrible quality.

My friend helped me record this with his equipment and we digitally altered it so you could hear the full affect on the computer. If we hadn't, you'd lose half the sound to distortion. At the time, this was the only place I could find to host it, but I still have the original wav somewhere.

I've heard a lot of popular WRX BOV's, but I can't seem to think of one that would sound like a school bell whistle.

it is probably some sort of aftermarket intake coupled with a the BOV. On my car after I put the intake on it, ther was a fluttering noise(if it was higher pitched it would be like what you are wanting) that was noticable when shifting and letting of of the gas in general.
