where to buy performance parts

This is my first post and my first Subaru. I am not unfamiliar with the boxer, but have never owned one or done any serious work on it. I am stationed in Germany and i just purchased a 1994 JDM STI. I got it cheap cause i bought it with a blown engine. A local tuning shop dropped a freshly rebuilt EJ20 in it. the only thing done to the engine currently is when it was rebuilt the guy used some parts (crank etc) from a newer sti that had been totaled. I am lookin to do some minor modifications too it. i want to put an intercooler, intake, and exhaust and maybe a remap. problem is i dont know where to get j-spec parts. i can find them over here but believe it or not, they are so expensive it would be cheaper to buy in the states and ship over here. any suggestions on websites and brands for the mods?

P.S. anybody know what it would take to convert it to bring it back to the states?

Welcome to the forums.

Is the car in Germany or in cajun country ?

To tell you the truth, many folks on here may not be able to help you since 99% of us play with USDM cars.

Also, parts sold here in the states may have fitment issues with your car. My suggestion to you would be to have the car sent back here and then start playing with it.

Nice car! Not 100% but to bring one here i think you have to put U.S. glass in it. We use the shatter proof stuff. Least that's something i heard somewhere. anyone else know?

Cobb ap stage 2 ots, catless uppipe, catless turboback, Cobb Sf intake.
