O.K. I just installed a helix uppipe/downpipe combo and I love them , but I want a little more power still, my goal is reliable power and response. What would you guys do next? I have the 70k warrenty so I'd like to be able to remove anything fairly easily just in case I have to take it in.
Thats is why i had to go with cobb a.p. - no regrets.
What is a stand alone e.m. exactly? and can it be used with an a.t. rex? If we wanted to go past the cobb a.p.'s abilities in the future(ig, 18g=custom tune?) what are e.m. options for the a.t. rex?
A stand alone replaces the ECU all together. AEM's EMS is one of the more popular ones, as is the infamous Motec. For a race car they are the best way to go. For a street car, they may be more trouble than they're worth.
is the cobb access port a worthy investment for automatic cars or is the AEM's EMS better. Does the EMS have to be tuned or can u just load maps like the accessport
I think it depends what you want-how far youre going to modify youre car. RIGHT now, 320chp/280whp via the vf34 map is the top cobb has to offer. That should change in the near future. I think learning to tune youre own car would be something good to know. I going to grab some books and start reading
So a UTEC is $$$$$$$, how about a vishnu reflash? will it work with my mods, since they aren't "vishnu" ? I have helix uppipe/downpipe, delete elbow, K&N drop in and Ic hoses
Thanks guys !
