Turbo back = Downpipe, midpipe, and muffler + a little section of pipe
CatBack = Muffler + a little section of pipe

Yeah, but where it starts from makes a BIG difference. Cat backs are good mainly for sound only, plus you'll still be legal. Most Turbo-backs will give you sound AND performance, but may be illegal if you're messing with the stock cats.

More seriously, even a catback will improve power as the stock system is very restrictive. The more of the original system you remove, generally the more you increase power and noise!

whats the difference between a turbo back exhaust systems and a cat back exhaust systems
