snorkelectomy

Just make sure the ID's of the uppipes are the same. You dont want a 3" ID uppipe
The whole point in getting an aftermarket uppipe is to get rid of that horrible cat so close to your turbo.

My friend owns a shop and we did it in about 1.5 hrs with bull shi$$ing time, the lift was the nice thing. I also put down pipe in at same time.

dude thats great. i did mine on a lift took me 3 hours. the 2 longest parts were getting out the up pipe and taking off all the heat sheilds. thinking on it now i would have done it a lot faster. i would do things much diffrent.

The main difference btwn a flex up and a solid one is that the solid might cause leaks later but there is not real proof that the flex or solid causes leaks. From what i know the uppipe leaks are usually caused by wrong installations (ie torque specs) other wise an up pipe is an up pipe, there is no up pipe proven to be better than the other. I had the helix flex on my 03 for a year w/o any issues...to save money i gutted my OE up pipe on my new 05

As for the tbe i would of off until some sort of EM. Im sure u can run it for a while but since the 04/05 ECU has this open/closed loop u can run extremely lean for a sec and cause internal engine damage
