Question What turbo and fmic should I buy?

How's everyone doing? Need some help guys. The mods I have on right now are a perrin turbo back exhaust, injen rd intake, cobb ap, turbo xs bov. I am looking at a fmic and a bigger turbo. Any suggestions? I was on turbochargers.com and saw this for a turbo upgrade: TD05H Big 16G turbo upgraded 380hp. Thanks for the help.

It all depends on what your goals are. My personal favorite turbo for the 2.0L is the 18G, whether it be FP or another brand.

As for a FMIC, any name brand will do; TurboXS, Perrin, APS, etc.

Well... I dunno if youre going to get 360 out of a 16g. On top of that, you dont need a FMIC for a 16G. I would suggest looking into a TMIC and maybe an evbo 16G. Check out forced performance. Maybe you can get my JDM STI TMIC thats on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMESE%3AIT

I would say to get a nice tmic like stated above. You really don't need a fmic until you start messing with turbos like a 20g, green, red, etc... Then they become a requirement.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

Im puttin my new STi turbo and an Injen FMIC on this commin week.... from what my shop has said thats a good setup for about 300whp... with proper tuning...

300whp from a 2.0L and a VF39 is high. Most ppl will be more around 265-275.

Dyno numbers are all relevant. I made 273whp with my vf34, for some that seems high for some that seems really low. Dyno numbers depend on what type of dyno its on, a dyno jet will get you your high bragging right numbers while a mustang dyno will get your the more "real" numbers. Not only the dyno, your gas plays a big deal in the tune and your end horsepower numbers. I made 273whp on a Mustang dyno with 91octane gas. That is the third highest vf34 ever tuned there on 91octane. Then you go look and someone claims they made 305whp on a vf34, that’s because they have access to 93octane and they are on a dyno jet. You need to think this over, and figure out what kind of car you would like. You should go ahead and get something similar to a 16g and run an aftermarket tmic. This will give you hp gains over stock and make your car incredibly fun to drive without the lag of the fmic.

I just got the 16g from turbochargers.com and a turboxs fmic it going on tommoro with 650cc injectors and a 255 furl pump it will be tuned on monday.I wioll ley you know how i feel about a front mount with that turbo.

Keep in mind that unless you plan on getting a protune with you AP, you will need to use one of the turbos on cobb's list. Personally, I have an EVO 16g with a TXS front mount and I love it. I have 300 whp on 93 octane. I am using the Utec.
