Im just running an ebay dp, uppipe and stock cat back and it sounds great... Its not loud at all and when i rev it up, i still get that nice low rumble. its not as loud as id like it, you can barely hear the rumble in the cabin but it dose sound very nice when i have a buddy rev it up for me

SPT is safe due to the fact that it is a warrenty item under subaru. it stands for subaru performance technia ? correct me if im wrong. but i do believe that it is covered by warranty. I've heard it on my friends suby and it does sound pretty nice, not to loud at all. but if your really concerned id go with borla hush or cobb.

You're close, but actually:

SPT = Subaru Performance Tuning

My guess is you're confusing that with STi

STi = Subaru Tecnica International

And eckiller220, I have the HKS Hi-Power Carbon-Ti cat back on my 07 WRX and, in my opinion, it's pretty loud. If you want something quieter, most of what has already been mentioned will probably work for you.

I've been looking myself for the perfect exhaust. I have it narrowed to either borla hush, turboxs.
Any comments, or better suggestions.

I have heard that turbo xs is a really loud cat back exhaust...

Im kinda curious to see if flow master makes wrx exhaust, that would be sweet $$
