walbro question

I installed it last night and am looking at other installs. I did not put any zip ties around the pump securing it to anything on the assembly that lifts out, i don't remember if the kit had any in it so i didn't bother. The stock one did not have anything like this either. Just secured by the isolator and the hose clamp to the metal line. Seemed solid. Should i take it back apart and put a zip tie around it to be safe?

so yours was just held in there by the hose with clamps and the isolator on the bottom right? Cool then, it seemed pretty secure, but i wasn't sure and was OCD'ing over this last night lol.

Also, was there a snap ring or something that holds the filter on there?

How long did it take you to put the fuel pump in? I think I am going to be doing the fuel pump, injectors, and turbo on sunday.

last night i took it back out and installed the snap ring on the filter part, but it seemed very snug and secure so i opted to leave off the zip ties. Took about 30 minutes start to finish to take out and put back in. Once you've done it once, you see its cake compared to other cars +1 for subaru...

timing belt, water pump, FMIC, turbo, injectors, and more gauges going on this weekend also, OMG im gonna go nuts....
