I would have to say none of those. IHI VF 30 is a better choice. And cheaper.

You're pushing a VF30/34 pretty hard to get 300 whp. 300 crank hp can be reached on the stock turbo, but you have to remember that you're losing a lot of power through the drivetrain. A VF22 will reach the 300 whp mark easily and have room to spare.

the garret 450...with 750cc injectors...hehehehehe

bigger is better.

but not for that.

i would go with the setup i am currently running:IHI VF22, TXS FMIC, STi injectors, Perrin Rail kit, and Walbro fuel pump. of course, having a TBE, uppipe, and UTEC!!!! that is the key..you MUST HAVE THE UTEC..or soime form of fuel management...to run larger injectors!!!

PM or AIM me for details...

i may just know what i am talking about....

my "slightly educated" opinions...

Can someone explain to me the difference between the vf23 and the vf34 because i also want to reach the 300whp+ goal and it says on the worldoneperformance site that the IHIvf23 is the best all around turbo does anyone know what rpm that turbo reaches full boost at and compare it to the vf34 because i still want a streetable car with not a lot of lag. I dont understand why no one says to get the AVO turbos or the new Hybrid 16g supposidly thats supposed to be awesome but i haven't heard anyone talk about it yet. -Ryan

Go with Forced performace's 18g. It's basically the same thing as the vf30 but can hold boost all the way to red line and will put down round 10-20whp more then the vf30 because you can raise the boost higher more safely. If you want a monster go with the 20g. 350 whp with pump gas.

I have looked and looked on their site, and have yet to see a 16g, 18g, or 20g with the proper flanges for a WRX. Is there something I'm missing?

cosmo what about those new Hybrid 16/18g turbos on www.wrxtuner.com site. Supposidly they are direct bolt on and flanges fit good and is the PE1818 a good street turbo that is better then the 16g and vf23?

I haven't looked there. I'll have to check those out. If the flanges are correct, then they would probably be a good choice.

I heard that the only good 16g, 18g, and 20g's are from forced performance. The other ones are rip offs.
18g http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=398666
20g http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=405084
All the tests were done by nathan from turbo xs
