Anybody got one of these yet?
I was initially scared of the static chip limitations, but now it seems like it might be the easiest route to go.
Not sure if I should go to one of Cobb's affiliates and have it tuned or just order from Vishnu or TXS.
Yeah whats up with that Kit? How come I have never heard anyone talk about Vishnu? There pruducts look cool, they sound like they no there stuff and I think there located in Martinez, which I think is right out of the Bay area. Does anyone got this???
If all you want is the uni-chip I would forego the whole Vishnu stage0 kit then. The stage 0 includes an underdrive pulley and a Uppipe, both of which are fairly difficult to install. The unichip by itself is much easier, but the vishnu one requires cutting 4 wires going to the factory ECU. The turboXS one comes with a plug and play harness, but the wait is longer. From what I have heard, the people with the Vishnu Stage 0 are happy with it, just like the people with the TurboXS ones are. (including me )
Hope this helps...
I've heard nothing but good things about Vishnu, so if you're local,.. go for it. The only thing that would hold me back is that his UniChip doesn't have the plug and play harness so you'll have to splice wires to your ECU. That's probably not something I'd want to explain to the dealership if I was trying to take it in for warantee work!
I think I decided to go with the Vishnu Stage 0. After looking around at seperate prices for the parts included it seems like a decent deal at $995.
Looks like I'll be getting rid of the TCG intake that I waited so long for and putting the silencer back in. Anybody want to buy a slightly used TCG intake with a K&N flat panel.
I'll even re-oil the filter
