VF39 on a EJ20, Yes??? No??? HELP!

My friend has VF39 for sale, he wants me to make him an offer on it. Right now I have a Helix UP/DP catless combo and Apexi cat-back, Cobb AP should be arriving next week. Is the VF39 a good turbo for daily driving? Will I get more lag from it? I know I have to upgrade the fuel system, but do I have to go with a larger TMIC. Thanks, any info is helpful.

P.S. What are these things worth in good cond. w/ about 30k on 'em.

You will get a little more lag and no you don't have to get a larger intercooler

It is a pretty good turbo so I would go for it if the price it right

Ive seen them for as low as 300 on nasioc and as high as 600. Dont go over 400. I just dont think its worth it then.

Ya, I was thinkin' somewhere around $300 would be fair. Also got a hookup on a VF34, might lean toward that since the COBB AP has a map for it and would like to hold off on a protune till I do an intercooler.
