VF34, gas mileage?

i was wondering if anyone who has a VF34, upgraded injectors, and an engine management system could comment on what your gas mileage is like on a conservative tune?

ngeren is more helpful than not
Don't go balls-to-the-wall all the time and it should be fine / remain close to normal depending on the tune. Gas mileage would however change tremendously with 4.44s

I get around 20mpg in town with my VF34 and STi injectors. I haven't been on a road trip in a while so I don't know what I get on the interstate....

my relatively stock (cat-back) wrx averages 20-21 mpg city and highway and i have seen as low as 17 mpg city. Is there something wrong here? The computer was reprogramed by subaru because it kept throwing a cel , is it possible they reprogramed it to run rich???? what are you guys with stock cars averaging????

They just reflash it back to stock. Subarus run rich anyways. Mine has been tuned a little leaner.

Cosmo, I was just wondering if your happy with the VF34. I was kind of also wondering how the boost lag compares to stock. That is the setup I want to go with, VF34, TMIC, UTEC, STI injectors, and some kind of dp with the auto speed cat back. I'm just wondering if Im going to be driving something that is an absolute dog when Im in town and cant really get on it.

Thanks,
Bryce

I believe boost will come onto full 500rpm or less later. No turbo will be a dog around town.

Boost should be AT LEAST as fast with a 34, UP, TBE, utec....etc ###### sooner and feela whole lot better on top
