It makes very little difference. Many people just gut the stock one. Personally, I have the Perrin.

The cat contains cancerious substances and the <$200 is not worth the health risk. Personally I have Perrin, and many others on here swear by Helix b/c of the flex joint.

I would say Helix as well. Cobb was my second choice.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

I am an owner of a Helix uppipe. Never leaked for me and great quality. I got mine new for $125. I do know that the Helix has a slightly larger diameter then stock. Some people say it will increase your lag, but I have never felt a difference.

Well, I have seen 3 different uppipes on my friend's STi. He had the Helix flex, TurboXS, and Perrin. He made 5 awhp more with the Perrin pipe since it produced the least amount of turbulance going into the turbine. Problem was, it took us damn near 5 hours to put it in. It is completely steel piping, no "flex" like the Helix and therefore is a little harder to mate up to the turbo if your engine has shifted and settled into the frame more. If you are looking for an "easier" install (all up-pipes are complicated intall), go with the helix. If you are looking for a bit more power, look to the Perrin. It really made no difference in spool time but it made his TD05 a bit louder.

the invidia is pretty much identical to the perrin and mine wasn't a problem at all to put in.

I also have the Invidia and it is definetly a quality part. The install was not very difficult, and i have never had any problems with it leaking at the gaskets. Plus you can get the Invidia for a slim price of $119.00 with FREE SHiPPING from extremepsi.com. Thats a pretty damn good buy in my book. I would definetly buy it over again.
